| Online Background Check:
To be eligible to coach or volunteer within
the CFBSA community you must first
successfully complete an
online background check.
|
| Clinics/Meetings:
G Badge Clinic on March 14th - If you do not have a
coaching badge, Carrollton is having a G
Badge clinic on March 14th at the soccer
office. 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The G badge is
primarily for U5-U8 coaches, but if you don
t have any badge the G badge will suffice
for now.
Please call the office and
reserve a spot. The city of Carrollton
requires all our coaches to have a badge and
that CFBSA have a record of such. If you
already have a badge and have not made a
copy available to our office before this,
please get a copy in immediately. If you can
t make this clinic there are others in the
area,
check the NTX Soccer Web Site for
coaching clinics.
|
| Coaches ID Badges: ID badges
must be worn and visibly displayed by all
coaches, assistant coaches and team managers
during a game. Any individual who does not
have their badge will not be allowed to be
on the player sidelines. No more than 3
members of a team will be eligible to obtain
a coaches id badge, another words – only 3
adults are allowed on the coaches’ side of
the field during a game.
The intent of this rule is for the
continued safety and protection of all CFBSA
youth. To be eligible to coach or volunteer
within the CFBSA community you must first
successfully complete an
online background check. After you have been
approved you will need to submit an
application
and a government issued photo ID to the
soccer office. Your North Texas coaches’ id
badge will be issued only to you by the
association at the soccer office.
We suggest that should you be the only
coach listed on the roster that you
designate another parent as assistant or
team manger and have them fill out the
background paperwork as we realize there
will times that you may not be able to be at
all games.
