In order to verify that the offending player/coach serves his/her game suspension, this form must be completed by the coach, assistant coach, or team manager and the referee must sign off on the fact that the player/coach did not participate. Player/Coach receiving send-off must then submit this report to the tournament headquarters and/or team’s playing league. • Emails - All coaches and parents please visit our registration link to Got Soccer to verify that we have your correct email address. We communicate extensively via emails and correct addresses are essential in getting you the most accurate information in a timely manner.
  • Field Lighting - If at any time the lights don't come on or turn off too early, you (or someone from your team) will need to contact the personnel at the concession stand immediately.
  • Referees - If a referee is a no show, you also need to contact the personnel at the concession stand or field marshal as soon as possible. These individuals are your first point of contact.

Zero Tolerance Policy:

Coaches, players, parents and all members of the CFBSA are expected to uphold this policy and respect the referee regardless of their age or experience. Click to read.

Online Background Check:

To be eligible to coach or volunteer within the CFBSA community you must first successfully complete an  online background check.

Clinics/Meetings:

G Badge Clinic on March 14th - If you do not have a coaching badge, Carrollton is having a G Badge clinic on March 14th at the soccer office. 9:00 am to 12:00 pm. The G badge is primarily for U5-U8 coaches, but if you don t have any badge the G badge will suffice for now.

Please call the office and reserve a spot. The city of Carrollton requires all our coaches to have a badge and that CFBSA have a record of such. If you already have a badge and have not made a copy available to our office before this, please get a copy in immediately. If you can t make this clinic there are others in the area, check the NTX Soccer Web Site for coaching clinics.

Coaches ID Badges:

Upcoming Changes - ID Badges

ID badges must be worn and visibly displayed by all coaches, assistant coaches and team managers during a game. Any individual who does not have their badge will not be allowed to be on the player sidelines. No more than 3 members of a team will be eligible to obtain a coaches id badge, another words – only 3 adults are allowed on the coaches’ side of the field during a game.

The intent of this rule is for the continued safety and protection of all CFBSA youth. To be eligible to coach or volunteer within the CFBSA community you must first successfully complete an  online background check. After you have been approved you will need to submit an application and a government issued photo ID to the soccer office. Your North Texas coaches’ id badge will be issued only to you by the association at the soccer office.

We suggest that should you be the only coach listed on the roster that you designate another parent as assistant or team manger and have them fill out the background paperwork as we realize there will times that you may not be able to be at all games.

Game Cards/Game Reports:

Game Reports, also known as Game Cards, are very important. They serve as the official record of a game and are the source of reference for protests, appeals, complaints or other matters of Association responsibility. Every coach must hand their age appropriate Game Report to the referee before each game, no exceptions. No hand written reports will be accepted.

Click here if you coach a U4-U10 team and you will be redirected on how to print your Game Card through your Got-Soccer team account. U11-U12 teams are required to use CFBSA’s Word .doc or Adobe .pdf Game Reports. All U13-U19 teams must follow the guidelines provided by Northern Mid-Cities Soccer League, click for details.

Nets and Flags:

CFBSA coaches are responsible to set up and take down the nets and/or corner flags daily.
Click on McInnish, Good or Cox/Pepper to read the procedure at each complex as they slightly differ.

Click here if you coach a U4-U10 team to see if you’re the first home team game of the day for your field. You are responsible for retrieving the nets and/or corner flags from storage; or last home team of the day responsible for returning the nets and/or corner flags to storage.

For U11-U19 teams, click here and you will be redirected to list of home teams responsible for retrieving and returning nets and/or corner flags to storage at each field during the weekends.

If only one team shows or neither teams shows after your game and you are not the last scheduled game then it is the responsibility of the CFBSA teams who just played to take down the nets and/or corner flags. It is the home team responsibility to return the nets and/or corner flags to storage.

On Game day the concession stand personnel can assist if you have any questions.

Scoring:

Scores for teams playing U5-U19 must be entered by the home team within 48 hours of the game. Finals scores for teams playing U8 and younger will be used by CFBSA for the sole purpose of determining future conferences within each division. Team standings are not published. U9-U19 standings are published. Click here for Scoring Instructions for teams U5-U19.
